Cell Line Drug Screen
In this panel, you can compare drug response to gene expression level in GDSC project or CREAMMIST database.
GEPIA3 performs correlation analysis (Spearman correlation) between drug sensitivity scores and gene expression in selected cell lines for the following data resources. GDSC (Genomics of Drug Sensitivity in Cancer) screened drug sensitivity of cancer cell lines to a wide range of small molecule compounds. CREAMMIST provided an integrative probabilistic predictions for cancer drug response in multiple projects including CTRP, GDSC and CCLE. See their pulication for details:

Parameters:
- Gene: Input a gene/isoform or gene signature A of interest.
- Drug Screen Dataset Select the dataset to use.
- Drug Sensitivity Metric Select the score for drug sensitivity measurement.
- Cell Line Types: Select one or multiple cell types and click "+" to build the dataset.
Notices:
- Only patients with drug treatment information are included. Thus the group without using selected drug refers to patients using other drugs.
- Since special treatment of blood tumor are not included (e.g. stem cell transplantation in DLBC), be careful to combine blood tumor and solid tumor into a uniformed dataset.
- Notice that there may not be sufficient cases for survial anaysis in single or limited cancer types.
In this panel, you can compare drug response to gene expression level in CTRP project.
The Cancer Therapeutics Response Portal (CTRP) is a comprehensive screening project that evaluates the sensitivity of cancer cell lines to a wide range of small molecule compounds. We integrated the resource data derived from drug screen result of CTRPv2.1 (2016_pub_NatChemBiol version). The result table shows correlation between gene expression/CNV level and drug dosage response, while the bar plot displays the top 10 most sensitive drugs with high expression/CN and the top 10 most sensitive drugs with low expression/CN, respectively. See the original paper for details.

Parameters:
- Gene: Input a gene for analysis. Gene ID is not supported, please use gene official name. Only genes with sensitive drugs are listed, therefore, not all genes are available.
- Select Cell Type: Select cell type for drug-gene correlation calculation. Due to the limited number of cell lines in single cell type, we recommend to select all cells (all_CCLs) for analysis.
- Correlation Analysis: Select Gene's RNA expression level or DNA copy number for correlation analysis with drug sensitivity.
