Alternative Promoter
In this panel, you can get information about promoter activity change for particular genes in multiple cancer types.
Here, promoter is defined as transcription start site. Activity values represent relative promoter activity to each other, range from 0 to 1; and sum to 1 per gene per cancer type. 1 means 100% transcription activity of the gene is driven by the promoter. 0 means none of the transciption activity is driven from the promoter.
The statistical significance for tumor-normal pairs with p-value < 0.05 is annotated on the bar plot, with values calculated using an independent samples t-test
Parameters:
- Gene: Input a gene or gene set of interest.
- ICGC Tumor: Select cancer types of interest in the "ICGC Tumor" and click "add" to build dataset list in the "Used Expression Datasets" field. Also, manual input of cancer types split by comma (e.g. Breast-AdenoCA,Ovary-AdenoCA) is also acceptable.
